Because of the new situation in Ukraine, we are looking for a Community Manager on a 20h-40h basis for our digital platform for 6-12 months. You have already gained experience in the field of refugee aid, you have great communication skills and are also reliable and well organised? Do you want to work in a dynamic team and get an insight into the social start-up scene? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Your profile:
– You are already involved with refugees, have a strong interest in the topics of migration and integration and would like to gain work experience in a social start-up.
– You like to do research and quickly familiarise yourself with unfamiliar topics
– You have a very good command of German and English and/or
Ukrainian and Russian and you are able to present complex issues clearly
(especially in writing)
– You are very structured and able to work independently
– You have an empathetic streak, can work well in a team and you have good communication skills.

Your tasks:
– You moderate on the platform and link questions to our matching experts on the platform.
– You take care of the tone and the compliance with the community rules, as well as spam and troll protection.
– You contribute to the Wefugees community with your own researched answers (not legal, rather organisational).
– You will take on social media tasks and create and distribute informative posts in the Ukrainian Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and Signal communities.
– You will also ensure that outdated responses will be kept updated.
